The Japanese island of Tashirojima also known as “Cat Island” is an eight-square-mile area famous for having zero banks, zero restaurants, zero gas stations, about 100 residents, and way more than 100 stray cats. Among the only shots of Tashirojima’s architecture is the photo above.
